This week was all about cold email outreach.
We’ve been revamping our deliverability, adding new domains, and drafting sequences to test out. I drafted 40+ emails in Spanish. Next week we’ll see how they go. I’m hoping to get high deliverability and some engagement. The email gods have changed the rules a bit in the last year so it’s much easier to get flagged as spam and made it more difficult for emails to appear in a prospect (or client’s) inbox.
Concepts:
Control Plane’s observability/metrics. We use Grafana to provide insights into workload deployments.
Next week my goal is to set up some meetings for when I’m in Guadalajara in June. I want to meet people personally and get a better understanding of the pain points and process of a software CTO’s work.
Interesting profile:
Spoke with an Director of Institutional Engineering based out of Argentina. They are an NGO that works with small groups and large governments to implement digital strategies and innovation. They have workshops, events, webinars and consulting for their partners. They have 10 full stack engineers. Could be an interesting use case for control plane to be an effective platform that helps them with Microservices and containerization. Should be easier for them to use since no Kubernetes experience is required.

Have a good long weekend! My family and I will be at the beach. It should be close to 100F here in La Paz.
